Q Leave is the Queensland Building and Construction Industry (Portable Long Service Leave) Authority. Created in 1992, the Authority provides long service leave benefits for eligible building and construction workers. Q-Leave is payable on all construction that has a value of $80,000 or more. Building work is defined as carrying out of construction, reconstruction, renovation, alteration, demolition, maintenance or repair work.
