What is Pursuit of Excellence?
This exclusive international award program recognizes the most exceptional funeral homes for their outstanding programs and services, their commitment to going beyond expectations of the families and communities they serve, and their adherence to high ethical standards. To achieve the Pursuit of Excellence Award, the program’s principal recognition and the premier award in funeral service, funeral homes must fulfill criteria in six categories of achievement: Basic Requirements; Continuing Education and Staff Development; Family Outreach, Support and Services; Community Service and Education; Professional Service and Participation; and Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations.
