What is Public Relations Case Studies?

0

Public Relations Case Studies is a survey of contemporary and modern cases in public relations that are renowned for their successful response to crises or notorious for their failure to do so. The goal of the course is to give junior and senior public relations majors a thorough understanding of how and why various public relations strategies succeed or fail. Throughout the fall 2008 semester, Associate Professor Mark Van Dyke and Marist College students worked closely with Quadricentennial Executive Director Tara Sullivan and her Executive and Marketing Assistant Nicole Sama to promote the upcoming celebration to 18- to 25-year-old audiences. Through this collaboration, students were able to get hands-on experience dealing with real-world public relations strategies and tactics while supplying the Quadricentennial with valuable marketing and promotional assistance in the Hudson River Valley region. Shown above are the Fall 2008 Public Relations Case Studies classes.
