What is puberty induction for Turners Syndrome?
Not many of us have heard of Turner’s syndrome but it affects quite a number of women. Depending on the severity of this syndrome it might not be discovered until a woman reaches the age when puberty is expected to begin. This syndrome is genetic, affecting what is known as the sex chromosomes. The sex of a baby is usually determined by genes inherited from both parents when an embryo forms. Normal developed females usually have what are identified as two X chromosomes. Girls who get only a part of one of the sex chromosomes or who don’t inherit one of the two chromosomes will develop this syndrome.
