Software such as VK Express, provides contest voice keyer operation, it calls CQ or any other message in a loop mode (the same sequence again and again). Pushing your the microphone button will automatically stop this loop sequence with a RIGblaster Plus or pro via the serial port DSR or CTS lines. In the case of the RIGblaster pro the PTT interrupt circuit may also be used to signal software to switch from receive to transmit processing.
