The draft Local Plan has identified this land as a site for new housing and Scottish & Newcastle have submitted a planning application for this to Rushcliffe Borough Council. The planning application proposes around 70 homes set behind a landscaped open space frontage on Wilford Lane. The housing scheme is not part of the general development proposals for Gresham Park and is a separate proposal. However, it is intended that the new housing development and proposed new Becket School would have a shared junction at Wilford Lane.
