What is proper for mother of bride to wear for wedding?
My mom is trying to figure out what to wear to my wedding right now. I would say a conservative dress that coordinates with, but doesn’t necessarily match the wedding colors. For example, my wedding colors are light blue and white and my mother is looking into wearing a light purple dress (if she can find one she likes). If you still aren’t sure, go to www.theknot.com. They have a ton of dresses for everyone involved with a wedding! You just have to click on the Dresses! tab at the top and then the link on the left for Mother of the Bride/Groom (I think it says bride, but both mothers should be dressed in similar styles anyway). You may have to register with the site, but it’s absolutely FREE! It’ll give you some great ideas.
