What is proper baby shower etiquette after first child?
It is a bit ignorant and looked down upon for a woman to have a baby shower after the first child. There are exceptions though. If your children are from a previous father and the new father is a first time dad his family may think it is OK. Also if the time between your pregnancies is 10 years or more. Family usually throw showers. Friends can do it too. Usually family are in charge and the friends contibute. If your other kids are still young and only a few years have gone since your last pregnancy then I wouldn’t do it. It looks ignorant.
