What is promoted content?
tag is full disclosure of Zemanta having a commercial relationship with the publisher. These publishers are paying us to be part of recommendations pool, or paying us per number of recommendations. Promoted status does not guarantee the content to be recommended in our network. Publishers cannot buy a place among recommendations: • Zemanta recommendation engine will always return best recommendations, but promoted content may be ranked differently than the rest. • We markup such content sources to disclose the difference to users. Promoted content is one of three types of content in our pool. The other two are: • Feeds from mainstream media and notable bloggers. • Feeds from Zemanta users. Promoted is an experimental feature and we will highly appreciate if you help us improve it by filling out our Content Satisfaction Survey.
