What is Problem Based Learning?

Problem Based Learning is a case focused, small group learning format that facilitates the student’s ability to identify, utilize, and manage learning resources and contributes to a smooth transition from the classroom to the clinic. While the entire curriculum is not intended to be problem-based, the problem-based learning philosophy is at the core of all decisions made with respect to the curriculum.
