What is Premier Decking made of?
Premier Composite Decking is made of wood flour and high density polyethylene combined with pigment for color, an anti-fungal/anti mildew agent and an anti-parasite agent. In addition, because it is manufactured using Strandex technology, Premier decking has five important features. First, it is one of the strongest deckboards on the market. The Strandex technology results in strands of wood flour exiting from the extruder like strands of spaghetti. Each individual strand of wood flour is encased in high density polyethylene (HDPE). These strands are then compressed and like strands of a rope make the rope stronger, these strands of encased wood flour make Premier composite deck stronger.
