As we age, 2 factors come in to play that have effects on our skin. The first is known as Intrinsic Factors, these are genetically programmed changes that occur within the skin. The second is Extrinsic factors, and these are the result of the environment and its effects on the skin. Extrinsic factors is what acclerates the aging process and leaves us with what is known as Pre-Maturely Aging Skin
