What is “Pre-record”?

“Pre-record” only applies to motion recording. Normally, when the DVR is set to motion recording, it takes a second to begin recording once the motion has been triggered. When pre-record is selected, a buffer of the previous 140 frames before motion was triggered is recorded to the drive. This allows the DVR to record the second or two prior to the motion sensor being triggered. Sora recommends that this setting always be turned on when you are doing motion recording.
