What is pre-paying for a funeral?
Pre-paying for a funeral means providing money in advance for funeral services. All pre-payment monies go into an irrevocable trust . Accounts are created in each individual’s name, not the funeral home name. No money is held in funeral home accounts and a funeral home has no access to any of these monies until the time of death. Pre-payment can be accomplished in two ways: 1). Payment in full, or; 2). A payment plan. The payment plan can be explained to you by one of our funeral directors.
