Any commodity which without the purchaser being present,isplaced in a package of whatever nature whether sealed or opened so that the commodity contained thereinn has a predetermined value and includes those commodities which could be taken out of the package for testing or examining or inspecting the commodity.This facilitates that all the commodities like electricity bulb, readymade garments, TV sets are also brought under the purview of packages even though they have to be tested before the consumer.
