What is pre-admission and how do I know if I qualify for early admission?
A. Early admission enables qualified applicants from high school and first-year university or college to receive admission to the BCom program while completing their pre-commerce course work. These students are offered conditional admission and are able to complete COM 205 (Career Skills) and apply for a business co-op work term prior to commencing the BCom core courses. To qualify for early admission from high school, applicants must have an 80 per cent average in English 12, Math 12 and two more provincially examinable courses. For application details, see application procedures. To qualify for early admission from university or college, applicants must have a 12.0 unit GPA of 6.0 or higher and have completed one year of university or university transfer course work including three required courses with grades of B- or better. For application details, see application procedures.
