New Jersey requires passing scores on appropriate Praxis II subject area exams for teacher certification. Students admitted to the program during fall 2006 or after must pass the appropriate Praxis II exams prior to Student Teaching. All teacher candidates are encouraged to take Praxis II exam as soon as possible.
