What is Power Line Networking?
This networking method uses adapters that plug into electrical outlets to transfer data over standard electrical wiring. Although currently more expensive than wireless networks, power line networking is faster (with a theoretical 200Mbps max) and less susceptible to interference. Q: What does dual-band mean? A: This refers to a router that can operate over the 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands, allowing the router to use each frequency to execute multiple chores simultaneously.
