What is Post Viral Fatigue?
Glandular Fever which has lingering exhaustion is classed as Post Viral Fatigue and after 6 months as ME (although ME is bought on by many viruses and other factors). The exhaustion is extremely debilitating although varies from patient to patient. Some people have problems working while others can’t sit up or use the toilet. All sufferers appear to have good and bad days. At my worst I am bed bound for a few days, at best I can take short trips to the shops although I am predominantly house bound.
