Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome, or PTLS for short, is a doctor-induced condition used to describe the side effects after a woman has had tubal ligation surgery done. One possible cause of the side effects of this syndrome is the decline of estrogen and the disruption of the blood passing through the fallopian tubes, uterus, and ovaries during the procedure. PTLS has been a controversy for years stating whether or not the symptoms women have are real or just in their head. However women who have, or have had, PTLS will beg to differ.
