Pop-up “Internet Shield: Identity theft attempt detected” is deliberately displayed on computer by a rogue program Antivirus 7. Users may think that this was an alert coming from Windows but it is not. This alert message’s intention is to convince its victim to purchase the licensed version of the said fake program promising to remove the threats. The warning says: “Internet Shield: Identity theft attempt detected 56.12.121.12 Warning!
