What is polysand and what is the benefit?
Polysand is a great way to control weeds in your driveway, patio, walkway, etc. Pavers are famous for weeds and sand loss, with the polymeric sand, you dont have this problem. Polymeric sand, is a combination of sand and a polymer (similar to polyurethane) which takes the place of traditional sand. It must be brushed into the joints between the pavers and applied when the pavement is dry. After application, misting the polysand with water causes the polymer to activate and harden when it dries, thus helping to block places for weed seeds to settle.
