What is PMS and do I need to be concerned with that?
PMS stands for Pantone Matching System. It is a standardization of colors so that inks could be organized and referred to easier. You should only be concerned with it if you need to match a color exactly or if the color(s) of a job is critical to its completion. For example, if you ask us to match the color of your new letterhead to the color of the logo on your current business card, we will ask you what PMS that logo is. It is typically a three to four digit number, and maybe with a letter attached to it. Example, 3303U.
