What is PMC?

PMC -or Precious Metal Clay(TM)- is made of tiny silver particles in a cellulose clay binder. PMC can be molded, shaped or stamped just like regular clay. After firing with a torch or in a kiln, the clay binder burns off, leaving only pure silver. This wonderful product gives me the freedom to sculpt pendants, rings or whatever comes to my imagination. The finished piece is classified as “Fine Silver” since it’s 99.95% pure(sterling is 92.5% silver, the rest is alloy metals).
