What is PLATO and how do I use?
PLATO offers a simulated test for each Reading, Writing and Math. It will score you as if you had taken the real test. Based on how you did on the simulated test, it will give you a recommendation, or prescription, of areas that you need to review. PLATO offers self-guided tutorials to complete in order to build your skills in the needed areas. PLATO is a computer program that is web-based, so you can access it anywhere that you have a computer and Internet access. You will need to purchase the PLATO Student Packet from the KSU bookstore. The cost is $60.00. Inside the Packet are instructions of how to log on to the PLATO Learning System.
