What is Plagiarism and Collusion?
Plagiarism is the unacknowledged use of another person’s ideas, words or work. At one extreme it may involve the submission of the whole or part of a book or paper towards a degree. University regulations require that the thesis must be the student’s own work, and examiners are asked to certify that this is the case or, if the work was done in collaboration.
