What is Pittsburgh International Childrens Theater?
Pittsburgh International Children’s Theater is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, started in 1969 as “Performing Arts for Children.” The organization presents the best in performing and visual theater arts for families with children ages 3 to 12. Pittsburgh International Children’s Theater presents a Family Series each October through March at affordable prices in several convenient venues. The organization also presents the International Children’s Festival each May. the 2008 Pittsburgh International Children’s Festival will debut May 14-18 at a new site in Oakland with the Festival grounds to be located on the lawns of the University of Pittsburgh campus and Schenley Plaza.
