What is pigment red and how does the red absorb all the colors that are not red?
We see objects by the light that they reflect. Red objects reflect red light so they look red. They absorb the rest of the colors in white light and this can be measured as increase in temperature.If it can not reflect it, it is changed to heat.and absorbed. Pigments reflect the color that they are. They absorb the other colors of light.This does not allow more red light to come to the eye, it allows only red light to come to the eye.
