What is PHOTO VAULTs Verify mode?
Verify mode compares the original data on source media to that written to a CD-R disc, and thus allows you to make sure that the data was copied correctly. When set to Verify mode, PHOTO VAULT will perform this function automatically after it has finished writing to a disc. To enable verification: • Switch PHOTO VAULT off by pressing the power button for 2 seconds. • Remove any USB device, Memory Stick and/or CD-R. • Switch PHOTO VAULT on by pressing the power button for 2 seconds. • Press the Enter button for 2 seconds. • Use the arrow keys untill you see Verify appear on the LCD display. • Press the Enter button to enable the verification. Repeat the same process to switch the verification off. The following considerations when using Verify mode: • Since verification takes approximately the same time as writing data, using Verify mode will double the total copy time. • If verification finds an error in the copied data it will report it.
