What is Phi Theta Kappa, and is it connected to the Honors Program?
Phi Theta Kappa is the international honors society for students at two-year colleges. Students are encouraged to join Phi Theta Kappa as soon as they are eligible, and most honors students do join. Membership in Phi Theta Kappa provides students with many scholarship opportunities and is also noted on a student’s transcript. The Honors Program and Phi Theta Kappa maintain close links for communication and shared activities.
