What is PHAC doing to understand the needs and concerns of the First Nations population?
We have been working with the AFN and others to find ways of learning of on-reserve First Nations’ attitudes and awareness of H1N1. Through a confidential telephone survey, people will be asked how much they know about H1N1 and what they plan to do to protect themselves and their families. Based on what we learn, we will make adjustments if we need to on how we deliver information and how we say it. What people tell us will go into a report and we will make it available to the public.
