What is pH and does coral calcium raise the pH level?
A. pH = a positively charged hydrogen atom and refers to how acidic a solution is. A lower number means more acidic and a higher number means it is more alkaline. A pH saliva reading of 7.5 is excellent and most children will register at this healthy reading. Most adults tend to register at a pH of 6.5 or lower which indicates a calcium deficiency.
