What is Personal Counselling Triage Intake?
This is a new intake system designed to give students quicker access to personal counselling services at Counselling and Development. How does it work? All students requesting to have personal counselling will be given a Triage Intake appointment. During the first part of the appointment, you will fill in forms needed for your intake and then meet with a Triage Intake counsellor for a half hour interview. During this interview, the intake counselor will ask you questions related to why you’re seeking personal counseling now, what symptoms, if any, you have and what you’d like to accomplish in your personal counselling work. How quickly can I be seen for personal counseling? It is our aim to be able to offer students a Triage Intake Appointment as soon as possible after their call to Counseling and Development.
