What is PepsiCo UKs commitment to reduce waste?
At PepsiCo UK, we are committed to reducing waste, which is why we have pledged to reduce our waste-to-landfill by 20% in 2008. All of our virgin packaging, for example misprints and pre-production waste, is recycled. This factory waste is turned into plastic pellets which are used for garden furniture and flower pots. We have pledged to make all our packaging to be renewable, recyclable and degradable within 10 years. We are also committed to reducing our food waste. We send our surplus supply of Tropicana to breakfast clubs in deprived schools. What is PepsiCo UK’s policy on health and nutrition? At PepsiCo UK, we believe that our products can be enjoyed as part of a varied and balanced diet. We are aware of the importance of regular exercise and eating well. Consumption of our products is dependent on each individual person – and how much exercise you do. You have to balance energy in with energy out. We have a wide range of healthy products, including Tropicana and Copella. Pepsi M
