What is Peppermint Tea?
Hi Renee, keep up the great work with the lemons! I juice 6-8 every morning and add them to a large jug of water and drink throughout the day. Peppermint tea is just made with the dried leaves of the herb mint but without the caffeine and acidity! Most health food stores sell peppermint or mint tea already in tea bags. It’s delicious and very refreshing. Enjoy!
Peppermint tea can refer to several different types of tea. Sometimes it is a combination of black tea and peppermint leaves or peppermint oil. Other forms of this tea contain only peppermint, a member of the mint family called mentha piperita. Occasionally, some mint tea mixes different mints or adds peppermint oil for additional flavor.
