Pentecostalism today should be differentiated from extreme, weird, offshoots. The major branches of Pentecostalism do not practice Gifts of the Holy Spirit outside of what is found in the Bible. Do not assume that a weird Church, practicing weird stuff is part of the Pentecostal Denomination. Also, there are some Pentecostal Churches that have this weird idea that one needs to be Baptized in the name of “Jesus Only” to be saved, and have a “Oneness” view of the Trinity. Major Pentecostal denominations that believe in the core beliefs of Christianity are Assembly of God, Church of God In Christ, International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, and Holiness Pentecostal.
