Yes, PECOS rules do apply to RHCs. CMS is implementing the Internet-based Provider Enrollment, Chain and Ownership System (PECOS) Release 5.1. PECOS 5.1 will allow physicians and Non-Physician Practitioners (NPPs) to enroll in Medicare, view their Medicare enrollment data and update their Medicare enrollment information via the Internet.
