There can be two major signs that a person might be suffering from the serious jealousy condition of pathological jealousy in paranoid personality disorder. The first one is that the person concerned has a pattern of mistrust. Secondly they are constantly thinking that other people are ‘out to get them’. Having pathological jealousy in paranoid personality disorder is a condition that can often be overlooked or dismissed as something that is not that important. If a person is suffering from this condition, they will have a very difficult time trusting people. They will often think that people are trying to trick them, deceive them or harm them. They will also often hold grudges and be very unforgiving of perceived insults. It goes further than the basic jealousy issues.
