What is Parental Control and how does it work?
Parental Control is a part of the software package that allows you to turn off inappropriate pages for those who do not know the password. Any pages that are transmitted (i.e. that have been called up using the web browser) via http:// are scanned and checked for a rating. If they are on the “white list”, they are let through; if they are on the “blacklist”, they are blocked. The “child” profile allows only white listed sites; the “teenager” profile blocks blacklisted sites but allows everything else and the “parent” profile allows all. It is possible to reset the parental control passwords if you need to. Call your local Vodafone Customer Care team for detailed instructions, you will need your subscription licence key number.
