What is Parent and Family Orientation?

0

Parent and Family Orientation is a time for parents, guardians, aunts, uncles, siblings, and any other interested family members to learn more about C.W. Post Campus and better understand the experiences their C.W. Post student will soon encounter. It is not mandatory for family members to attend, however, it is recommended. The day’s activities will begin at 9 a.m. when the families and students check-in together. Later, the families will have the opportunity to hear presentations from faculty members about academic expectations and administrative staff to learn about campus services. You can also meet current students to gain a better understanding of the student experience at C.W. Post. Students will be participating in the Freshman Orientation session simultaneously with Family Orientation. All meals for the day will be provided. The expected end time for the day is 4 p.m.
