What is PAL and NTSC, I Have seen cameras on eBay that say they do both?
PAL is a UK video standard and NTSC is an American standard. A camera can only be PAL or NTSC but not both at the same time. It has to be manufactured as one or the other. The person you have seen that says they do both is relying on the hope that your TV or VCR will decode an NTSC signal (most new ones do). However, the same is not true for camcorders. If you have a PAL camcorder then it will only accept a PAL signal from a PAL bullet cam. An NTSC bullet cam will give a black and white/fuzzy image that breaks up. Same thing in reverse, if you have an NTSC camcorder, you would need an NTSC bullet camera. All our cameras are PAL for the UK market unless requested.
