What is oxidation and why should I be concerned?
Oxidation of oil occurs when friction of rubbing metal parts generate excessive heat. This heat causes a “burning” of the oil closest to the heat. The oil becomes darkened and has its viscosity altered and its effective life shortened. EP Concentrate added to oil reduces extreme pressure, heat, and oxidation. This results in longer oil life and allows for extended drain intervals Back to Top.
