What is Owner’s policy?
A title insurance policy insuring an owner of real estate against loss caused by defects or unmarketability of the owner’s title for matters arising in the chain of title prior to your ownership of the property. This policy provides coverage up to the face amount of the policy throughout the time you own the property and then continues coverage after you sell the property in the event that you have warranted the property to your buyer.
