Ric Heideger is a Seattle native, and has been the owner/operator of Doctor Dons Automotive since 1997. Heideger is a 1986 graduate of Arizonas Universal Technical Institute. He is a Master Certified Technician by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)this is ASEs highest possible rating. Prior to taking the reigns at Doctor Dons, Heideger spent 8 years as Manager of West Seattles Complete Auto Repair, and 4 years as Station Manager at Northgate Chevron in North Seattle. In his spare time, Heideger races cars competitively in the ICSCC circuit, driving a customized Mazda RX-7 that is set up and maintained by the shop. The shop possesses one of the citys few dynamometers.
