What is Overlands refund policy?
For withdrawals prior to March 1st, $295 of the deposit is refundable (notice of the withdrawal must be made in writing). For students who withdraw after March 1st, there are no refunds for any reason whatsoever (including, but not limited to, voluntary withdrawal, illness or injury prior to or during the program, summer school, security concerns or any other reason). Should a student leave a program after it starts for any reason whatsoever (including, but not limited to, illness or injury, discipline, security concerns or any other reason), there are no refunds. Parents are encouraged to purchase trip insurance to protect their investment against illness or injury; Overland includes trip insurance information on page 15 of our enrollment forms. All insurance questions, payments and claims must be made directly to the insurance provider.
