What is outsourcing in a business ?
When a business has work that needs to be done, but they don’t have the manpower or otherwise aren’t capable of doing the work themselves, they send the work out to another company that usually specializes in that type of work. Example: I work in the printing business. Sometimes a customer orders something that we don’t have the proper equipment to do the work, so we send it out to another company that can do it for us. Or sometimes we are just too busy to meet the customer’s deadline, so we contact another printer who can get the work done in time.
