What is our basic human instinct?
I think that at the root of it all, every person knows what’s right, and that’s what I mean by that. That’s our instinct. That’s our intuition. Are they going to act on it? Are they going to think in that way? Are they going to speak in a way that’s consistent with what they know is right? That’s a whole other question. But I believe intuitively in everyone’s hearts they actually know what’s right and wants to do what’s right. One of the things I do at my seminars is to give people options, so at the end of the day, if they’ve had juice or a superfood smoothie or if they’ve had cacao beans or something, they actually feel that they’ve done something good for themselves and the planet. And that is so important to have the feeling at the end of the day. It’s something I completely take for granted. I love that additive element you’ve established, where you’re adding positive things as opposed to taking away certain foods. Right. That doesn’t work. That’s against human nature, actually. W
