What is Orange doing to promote diversity in its workforce?
Orange is committed to ensuring that all employees receive a fair and equal experience of Orange regardless of gender, ability, race or ethnic origin, religious belief, age or sexual orientation, and that all employees feel engaged with Orange on an equal basis. Monitoring takes place to enable Orange to review the employee experience and respond appropriately. A diversity champion has been appointed on the Orange UK board and a series of initiatives have been launched with expert groups to encourage greater diversity in the workforce. These groups include: • Race for Opportunity A national network of businesses and organisations putting race issues on the business agenda. Orange takes part in an annual survey to help us see how we can foster an ethnically diverse workforce, and we work on improving the results from this year on year. • Employers Forum for Age An independent network of employers who recognise the need to attract and retain valuable employees regardless of their age. •
