What is Oracle JDeveloper and why is it so hard to find people with that particular skill set?

Answer Hi Gerry, Oracle JDeveloper is an integrated development environment with end-to-end support for modeling, developing, debugging, optimizing, and deploying Java applications and Web services. The latest version of the JDeveloper deployed by Oracle is 10g. JDeveloper is not as common of a tool as say SQL, .NET, C/C++ or Visual Basic programming. Thus it’s harder to find people with the skills as there isn’t the same demand in the market place. I am aware that some of the colleges are now including this in their Oracle curriculum, but it’s only some, not all. Hope this helps!
