Your first instant portal is generated automatically when Oracle Application Server 10g Standard Edition One is installed. With a single click, you can invoke a wizard to create additional portals instantly. Each portal includes a set of preconfigured pages for publishing and organizing content by department or function. By default these pages map to Sales, HR, Marketing and Finance departments but they are easy to customize to suit the needs of any organization. Each portal also includes a simple home page for displaying company news and announcements as well as for highlighting newly added content and user favorites.
